
Dr. Doug Reid completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia in 1985 and his medical degree at the Medical College of Virginia in 1989. He completed his surgical internship and residency at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center. Dr. Reid went on to work in general surgery at Fort Jackson in Columbia, SC, and then to Associates in General Surgery and Carolina Surgical Associates in Greenville, SC. Prior to joining Southern Surgical in 2007, Dr. Reid served as Chief of Surgery at Bon Secours St. Francis Health Systems in Greenville, SC.
