Dr. Norton is a West Columbia, South Carolina, native and is an Honor Graduate of Lexington High School, the University of South Carolina Honors College and the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. Dr. Norton's Surgical Residency Training was completed at the University Medical Center of Eastern Carolina including a research fellowship in Cardiothoracic/Vascular surgery.

Dr. Norton has interest and expertise in a wide variety of surgical procedures including advanced techniques in Vascular, Endovascular, Thoracic, Laparoscopic and General Surgery. This broad experience provides patients with the opportunity for an inclusive and minimally invasive plan of care.

Dr. Norton became Board Certified in 1998 and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
